Job summary

Forgent Power Solutions, Inc. in Champlin, MN is seeking an electrical wiring technician to install and terminate wiring on complex electrical systems. You will read wiring diagrams and schematics and install components on low and medium voltage systems, following assembly drawings.

Hours are 5am–3:30pm, Monday through Thursday, with potential overtime. You will work with shop colleagues to promote lean manufacturing and present a professional image to customers and vendors.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret wiring schematics and assembly drawings.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• High school diploma or GED required for safety and procedural compliance.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition are essential.
• Ability to work effectively in a team to meet daily production goals.

Responsibilities

• Wire various control panel products according to prints.
• Install electrical components per assembly drawings.
• Interpret electrical schematics/diagrams accurately.
• Cut, strip, crimp and wire AWG per print with high precision.
• Collaborate with shop employees to drive product improvements.
