Job summary

States Manufacturing Corporation in Champlin, MN seeks an electrical wiring technician to install and terminate wiring on newly assembled electrical systems. You will ensure wiring follows diagrams and schematics and covers low to medium voltage components.

You will wire control panel products, interpret wiring diagrams, and maintain a professional image in all customer interactions while supporting lean manufacturing initiatives. Teamwork and safety are essential in this hands-on role.

Qualifications

• Ability to read BOMs, assembly drawings, and wiring schematics
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• High school diploma or GED
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition
• Team-oriented and able to accomplish daily tasks

Responsibilities

• Wire various control panel products
• Install electrical components
• Interpret electrical schematics/diagrams
• Cut, strip, and crimp wires per print with accuracy
• Develop and maintain good relationships with shop staff to drive improvements
• Represent the company professionally in communications with customers and suppliers
• Support lean manufacturing initiatives and process improvements
• Assist in other manufacturing areas as needed
