Job summary

Forgent Power Solutions, Inc. is seeking a skilled wiring technician to install and terminate wiring on assembled electrical systems.

You will ensure wiring follows diagrams and is organized for low and medium voltage applications, with installation of components per assembly drawings. The role involves interpreting schematics, wiring control panels, and supporting lean manufacturing while maintaining a professional image in all interactions with customers and vendors.

Qualifications

• Ability to read engineering and manufacturing documents including BOMs, drawings, assembly instructions, wiring schematics.

Responsibilities

• Wire various control panel products.
• Install electrical components.
• Interpret electrical schematics/diagrams.
• Cut, strip, crimp and wire various AWG gauges per print with high accuracy.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with shop staff to drive improvements.
• Project a professional image in communications with customers, vendors and suppliers.
• Assist in manufacturing areas to support lean processes.
