Job summary

DataONE Construction in Millville, NJ seeks a Switchgear Assembly Technician to build electrical switchgear per drawings and wiring diagrams at a clean bench, mounting components, cutting and bending copper bus bar, routing control wiring, and verifying connections. You will perform torque verification, document test results, package finished gear for shipment, and assist with receiving parts.

Qualifications

• Hands-on skill with hand/power tools and measuring devices.
• Ability to read and interpret basic drawings and wiring diagrams.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Technical education or training in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Build electrical switchgear to specification from drawings and work instructions.
• Mount and secure components including breakers, relays, meters, terminal blocks, and DIN rail.
• Fabricate copper bus bar and install per prints.
• Route, label, and terminate control wiring using proper lugs and crimp tools.
• Perform torque verification on bolted joints and record results.
• Conduct continuity and point-to-point checks to validate wiring.
• Inspect and document results to meet quality standards.
• Package completed products for shipment and assist with receiving parts.
