Job summary

Synerfac Technical Staffing is seeking a CNC Operator II for a precision manufacturer in the United States. The role focuses on operating Swiss-style CNC machines to produce precision components per blueprints, with limited supervision and emphasis on safety, quality, and efficiency.

Responsibilities include setup procedures, tooling, tool changes, trial runs, measuring with gauges and calipers, and potential training of entry-level operators.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in CNC operations and Swiss-style machining
• Proficiency with basic CNC setup, offsets, and tool changes
• Strong ability to read blueprints and GD&T symbols
• Skilled in using precision measurement tools
• Basic understanding of speeds/feeds and material properties
• Familiarity with safety standards in machining environment
• Any experience with lathes, mills, or Citizen Swiss machines is a plus

Responsibilities

• Review blueprints to determine setup procedures, tools, and stock
• Select and install machine tooling
• Set guide bushings and bar feeders with minimal supervision
• Load and edit machine programs
• Perform trial runs and verify conformance using gauges
• Adjust machines to meet specified tolerances
• Use precision measuring devices and GD&T
• Suggest tool changes to resolve production problems
• Sharpen and maintain form tools
• May train or work in other departments
