You must be able to rig and position heavy members using cranes and follow strict safety and quality standards on every job. Previous experience in structural fabrication and welding is required.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret structural steel shop drawings, fabrication drawings, weld symbols, and details.
• Lay out, fit, assemble, and weld structural steel members to print.
• Fabricate beams, columns, stairs, handrails, frames, and assemblies.
• Install base plates, end plates, gusset plates, and other connections.
• Perform fillet, groove, PJP, and CJP welds.
• Prepare welds, bevels, root openings, backing, and multi-pass welds.
• Maintain quality through inspection and alignment checks.
• Operate cranes and material handling equipment safely.
