Job summary

Mixer Systems, Inc. is seeking a Welder to join our fabrication team in a manufacturing setting. The Welder will lay out, fit, align, and weld large, heavy structural assemblies using MIG and metal core processes.

The role requires reading drawings, following specifications, and working to close tolerances with minimal supervision. Qualified candidates will have 3–5 years of MIG welding experience, familiarity with carbon steel and stainless steel welding, and the ability to read blueprints and

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of MIG welding experience.
• Experience welding carbon steel in various thicknesses.
• Reading blueprints and interpreting measurements.
• Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures.
• Willingness to learn to operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and rigging equipment.
• Proficient English communication in the workplace.
• Certification (AWS welding) or school credits in welding is a plus.
• Stainless steel welding experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding per drawings, specs, and quality requirements.
• Weld and fabricate carbon steel and stainless steel as needed.
• Read blueprints and take/read measurements to plan layout and procedures.
• Set up components for welding according to specifications.
• Weld components in multiple positions and repair machinery as needed.
• Test and inspect welded surfaces and maintain safety standards.
