MiTek is seeking an operator to run stamping presses and related packaging equipment in a manufacturing environment. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and adherence to production targets within a fast-paced plant setting.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of machine operation experience. Forklift familiarity is a plus, and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 2 years machine operation experience preferred.
• Effective communication with co-workers and management regarding work and safety issues.
• Basic PC skills helpful but not required.
• Previous forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate stamping presses and auxiliary equipment with manual and automated packaging processes.
• Meet and/or exceed daily production goals.
• Report all machine malfunctions to mechanics or supervisors.
• Assist mechanics to keep press/packaging equipment operational.
• Manually pack steel components into packaging containers.
• Inspect finished products and mark steel lot numbers on shipping containers.
• Attend and be prepared for shift as scheduled.
