Job summary

Electronic Systems Inc. in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking an SMT Operator to join our production team. This full-time position on the second shift offers hands-on work assembling and producing electronic products to exact specifications.

You will read engineering prints, hand-insert components, perform soldering, and assist with testing, packaging, and production tasks. A minimum of three years' direct production experience, attention to detail, and teamwork are required for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years direct production and/or assembly experience.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Able to read and understand English instructions.
• Work independently while contributing to a team.
• Positive, self-motivated attitude and willingness to share knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow engineering prints and work instructions.
• Hand-insert components onto PCBs and ensure proper placement.
• Perform assembly and soldering for low-volume and prototype projects.
• Support with product testing, packaging, and other production tasks.
• Collaborate with teammates to meet quality and production goals.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and overtime as needed.
