Job summary

Electronic Systems Inc. (ESI) in Sioux Falls is seeking a Production Associate for the second shift. You will read prints and instructions, hand-insert components, and perform soldering to build high-quality PCBs while supporting a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of direct production, manufacturing, or assembly experience.
• Hands-on experience in a production or assembly environment.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal English instructions.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow assembly prints, work instructions, and verbal directions to complete low-volume and prototype projects.
• Hand-insert electronic components into printed circuit boards (PCBs).
• Ensure accurate component placement and quality assembly of finished products.
• Perform assembly and soldering while maintaining high standards for workmanship and efficiency.
• Share knowledge and help train teammates on proper assembly and soldering techniques.
• Communicate job progress, priorities, and potential issues to team leaders.
• Assist with product testing, packing, and other production activities.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and contribute to team success.
• Work occasional overtime as business needs require.
