Job summary

Reata Engineering is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Specialist in Englewood, CO. This role focuses on accurate receiving, packaging and shipping of precision-machined parts across aerospace, defense, medical, semiconductor and industrial markets.

You will verify orders, maintain documentation and traceability, and ensure correct materials and paperwork accompany each job as it progresses through production and outside processing. A strong attention to detail and organization is essential.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in shipping, receiving, warehousing, inventory or a related production environment.
• Experience using computers and entering information accurately
• Strong attention to part numbers, quantities, documents and special instructions
• Ability to organize competing priorities without losing track of details
• Clear communication when something is missing, damaged or inconsistent; reliability and willingness to help the team
• The judgment to stop and ask rather than guess

Responsibilities

• Receive raw materials, purchased components and customer-supplied parts
• Match incoming shipments to purchase orders and packing slips
• Verify quantities, part numbers, material certifications and other required documents
• Identify and communicate shortages, damage or documentation discrepancies
• Label, organize and route material to the correct location
• Maintain material identity, lot information and traceability
• Stage materials, parts and paperwork for production and outside processing
• Package precision-machined parts to prevent damage, contamination or cosmetic issues
• Verify quantities, packing slips, certifications and shipping instructions
• Process shipments through UPS, FedEx, freight and courier systems
• Record receipts, movements and shipments accurately in our ERP system
• Help maintain accurate inventory and an organized, professional work area
• Look for ways to make material flow more accurate and efficient
