Job summary

Green Bay Packaging is seeking a Sheeter Operator to load master rolls, set slitters, and monitor high-speed production. You will ensure tight tolerances, perform basic maintenance, and support safety and GMP standards in a 2nd or 3rd shift.

Ideal candidates are mechanically inclined, physically fit, and able to operate clamp trucks, forklifts, and pallet jacks while maintaining quality across sheet production for folding cartons.

Qualifications

• Must be physically able to stand 8-12 hours, lift up to 50 pounds.
• Experience with clamp trucks, forklifts, and pallet jacks.
• Sharp eye for quality and ability to troubleshoot machine issues.
• Willing to work 2nd or 3rd shift; day shift training first 120 days.

Responsibilities

• Set up master rolls, load backstand, and set slitters and knives.
• Monitor sheeter for high-speed operation with proper tension and precise cuts.
• Conduct quality audits for squareness and surface defects.
• Troubleshoot web breaks and jams on the fly.
• Manage roll stock data and ensure pallets are labeled and staged.
• Maintain safe workstation and perform basic preventative maintenance.
• Adhere to GMP standards for contamination control.
