Job summary

Green Bay Packaging Inc. is seeking a Sheeter Operator to convert master rolls of paperboard into precision-cut sheets for high-speed presses.

You will set up, thread, and monitor the Sheeter, ensuring accurate cuts and tight tolerances while maintaining safety and GMP standards. You will perform quality audits, troubleshoot issues on the fly, manage roll stock data, and assist with packing and staging finished pallets.

Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined and able to use basic hand and power tools.
• Committed to quality and doing things right the first time.
• Able to stand for long periods (8–12 hours) and lift up to 50 lb.
• Experience with clamp trucks, forklifts, or similar equipment is a plus.
• Willing to work 2nd or 3rd shift and overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up and thread master rolls, load backstand, and adjust slitters and knives per specs.
• Monitor the Sheeter at high speed to maintain tension and accurate cuts.
• Conduct routine quality checks for squareness, size, and surface defects.
• Troubleshoot jams, web breaks, or tension issues during production.
• Manage roll stock data and ensure pallets are labeled and staged correctly.
• Maintain a clean, safe workstation and perform basic preventative maintenance.
