Job summary

NSI Industries seeks a dedicated Screw Machine Operator for its Wheeling, IL location. This full-time, first shift role runs from 6am to 2:10pm, Monday through Friday, focusing on operating screw machines, loading bar stock, and ensuring parts meet drawings.

Responsibilities include maintaining fluids, inspecting parts with gauges and calipers, and keeping a clean work area. Candidates should have basic mechanical and math skills and be able to read documentation.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical skills required.
• Basic mathematical skills required.
• Ability to read and understand documentation.
• Ability to identify and use quality inspection tools (gauges, calipers).

Responsibilities

• Operate screw machines and manage cutting oils and hydraulic fluids.
• Load bar stock and perform basic machine operation.
• Inspect parts using gauges and calipers to ensure conformance to drawings.
• Maintain clean and organized work area and complete shift documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Site Manager.
