NSI Industries is seeking a Machine Operator for the Norridge, IL location on 2nd shift (3:15pm - 11:45pm, Mon-Fri). The role involves performing quality checks, operating die casting machinery, and maintaining material segregation while ensuring safety and cleanliness on the shop floor.

We offer a competitive hourly wage of $17.00 with a $1 differential, plus benefits and opportunity for growth within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Basic math and reading skills are required.
• Proficiency with basic computer tasks is expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality checks per routing sheet and report issues.
• Identify defects using gauges, calipers, and micrometers.
• Maintain proper labeling and separation of materials.
• Operate machines and report stoppages or scrap.
• Clean and maintain work area, machines, and equipment.
• Follow PPE requirements and shift instructions.
