Freedom Technology Solutions Group is seeking a Scanning Technician to join the team in MD. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of relevant experience, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to document and report equipment issues to the contractor team lead or client supervisor.

Responsibilities include labeling boxes, conducting inventory checks, scanning documents, maintaining GFE equipment, and ensuring accurate data extraction.

Qualifications

• Active security clearance with polygraph.
• 1 year of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Label incoming boxes and record box numbers in a log.
• Perform inventory and prep for scanning, including bar coding and separator sheets.
• Scan documents and verify accuracy; rescans when discrepancies are found.
• Care for and clean Government-Furnished Equipment (GFE) scanning tools as recommended by the manufacturer.
• Review scanned documents to ensure extracted information is accurate and complete; rescanning if necessary.
• Document and update the SOP for preparation, scanning, indexing and equity review of documents.
• Suggest SOP improvements and present them to the Sponsor for approval.
• Securely transport classified data and GFE equipment between Sponsor and OGA locations.
