Job summary

Farmer Focus is seeking a Scale Operator for the Acorn Facility. You will diligently weigh products to spec, maintain precise records, and communicate with leads and supervision to ensure quality.

The role emphasizes accuracy, attention to detail, and timely documentation in a production setting. You will operate scale and office equipment, complete paperwork, and contribute to safe, efficient operations on the 2nd shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• General mathematical ability required to perform the job.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to work assigned days and shifts, including some weekends.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to document information accurately.
• Ability to communicate clearly with department leads, supervisors, associates, and upper management.
• New team members must pass a drug and alcohol screening post‑offer and prior to start.
• IRCA verification of employment eligibility required by end of day three.

Responsibilities

• Accurately weigh products according to customer specifications and area requirements.
• Enter data using a keyboard and maintain accurate production and scale records.
• Operate production and office equipment (fax, copier, 10-key, scale, computer, email).
• Complete paperwork accurately, neatly, and on time.
• Read and understand processing paperwork and production documentation.
• Communicate clearly with supervisors, associates, department leads, and management.
• Maintain professionalism when interacting with team members.
• Analyze and calculate data using basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Complete tasks accurately and efficiently within time and resource constraints.
• Work assigned hours, including overtime and some weekends as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
