Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machining is a plus.
• Previous experience as a saw operator or in a similar role.
• Familiarity with various saw types and cutting techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise specifications.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate different types of saws to cut materials according to specifications.
• Set up saws for production runs, including adjusting speed, feed rates, and blade angles as necessary.
• Monitor the cutting process to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
• Measure and inspect cut materials for accuracy and make adjustments as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance on saw equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing blades.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Maintain accurate records of production quantities, materials used, and any issues encountered during operations.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
• Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure efficient production flow.
