Job summary

LJ Inc. is seeking a Shop Saw Operator to support our fabrication team in a manufacturing environment. You will accurately cut, prepare, and organize materials for welders and fabricators, ensuring quality and efficiency.

This hands-on role requires reading work orders and blueprints, measuring and cutting to precise specs, and maintaining safe, organized work areas with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Reads work orders, cut lists, and shop drawings to determine material requirements.
• Measures, marks, and cuts steel, aluminum, and other materials to precise specs.
• Keeps materials identified and inventoryed; inspects for quality before/after cutting.

Responsibilities

• Operate band saws, cold saws, and other cutting equipment for fabrication prep.
• Read blueprints and shop drawings to determine material needs.
• Staging and organizing materials for production; inspect quality before/after cutting.
