Job summary

Fortune Brands Innovations in Indiana is seeking a Saw Line Operator to cut skins to specifications and assemble custom door components. You will set up the saw, follow the production schedule, obtain work instructions from the specification book and the Saw Line Work Instructions, and verify parts before and after cutting.

Responsibilities include updating the saw schedule, recording production data, cleaning around the saw area, and turning paperwork to Group Leaders.

Responsibilities

• Set up saw to proper specifications.
• Wear all required PPE according to plant safety matrix.
• Follow production schedule within the order presented.
• Obtain work instructions from the specification book, the Saw Line Work Instructions, and BOM notes for specials.
• Verify correct parts at the saw and perform 2nd verification checks.
• Maintain Forklift certification and E21 certification.
• Record production information; update saw schedule.
• Clean up and sweep around saw areas.
• Turn paperwork into the Group Leaders.
• Other duties as assigned.
