Job summary

Aluminum Precision Products in Santa Ana, CA is seeking a Cut-Off Saw Operator to maintain stock, set up saws, and cut stock to exact lengths per production needs. The role requires operating the cut-off saw, loading and unloading stock, running production to meet length and quantity targets, and supporting Lean and SPC initiatives while adhering to safety and quality standards.

This position also includes forklift operation and collaboration with teammates across departments to ensure timely

Qualifications

• Must wear proper PPE in work area
• Excellent English reading/writing/verbal comprehension
• Must be able to work overtime to meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Receive and maintain aluminum stock
• Set up saw and saw equipment per procedure
• Replace saw blade as needed
• Assist in loading/unloading stock from saw table
• Operate the cut-off saw
• Run production to meet length and quantity per job travelers
• Maintain the stock supply room
• Participate in total quality management and continuous improvement
• Participate in LEAN and SPC activities
• Operate a forklift
• Perform other duties as instructed by APP leadership
