Job summary

Forgent Power Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Receiving Associate to manage the intake, inspection, and documentation of incoming materials. You will ensure accuracy, route items to correct locations, and support inventory integrity for production readiness.

Responsibilities include verifying deliveries, recording receipts in the ERP system, and coordinating with purchasing and warehouse teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain a safe receiving area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous warehouse or receiving experience preferred.
• Basic computer and inventory system knowledge.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Forklift certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
• Verify deliveries against purchase orders, packing slips, and shipping documents.
• Record receipts in the ERP/inventory management system.
• Label, organize, and route materials to appropriate storage or production areas.
• Report discrepancies, shortages, or damaged goods.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
• Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and production teams.
