Job summary

Monadnock Food Co-op in Keene, NH is hiring a meticulous Receiver to join the operations team. You will check in quality organic and local goods, ensure proper handling, and help keep store operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities include preparing receiving areas, verifying deliveries, directing unloading, and routing invoices to buyers while maintaining inventory in the POS system. Lift up to 50 pounds; schedule is Mon/Wed/Thu/Fri/Sat 6:30 am–2:30 pm.

Qualifications

• A meticulous receiver who can verify piece counts and inspect for obvious damage.
• Capable of lifting and moving up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to accurately process receiving paperwork and keep inventory records.

Responsibilities

• Prepare storage areas for incoming deliveries and check for discrepancies.
• Direct unloading for efficient labor use and sign for deliveries with adjustments noted on invoices.
• Route invoices to department buyers and ensure inventory is entered in the POS system.
