Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years of related experience and/or training.
• Valid Driver's License.
• AC1 certification or ability to obtain within 1 year.
• Must be computer literate.
• Ability to perform moderately complex mathematical equations.
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment.
• Thorough understanding of the ready-mix concrete business.

Responsibilities

• Ensures production of quality ready mix concrete per specifications.
• Performs opening, start up and shutdown of plant.
• Interacts regularly with dispatchers, haulers, drivers, customers, operations and quality control.
• Daily inspection of the entire plant facility.
• Manages maintenance needs at site to ensure equipment readiness and preventive maintenance.
• Thorough working knowledge of the computer/batching system.
