Job summary

Atlantic Track & Turnout Co. seeks a Rail Bending Machine Technician to convert blueprints into precisely formed rail components for turnout assemblies. Work on the 2nd shift in Richmond, IL, handling bending operations, crane handling, and quality checks while maintaining safety and documentation.

You will verify material labels, follow work orders, and collaborate with the next shift Supervisor to ensure smooth transitions and production flow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED/HiSET/TASC).
• 2+ years in manufacturing or hardscaping environment.
• Blueprint reading ability.
• Able to read a tape measure to 1/32".
• Lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Obtain crane and forklift certifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor bending machine per blueprints and specs.
• Stage material, use overhead/jib cranes, and position rail for bending.
• Verify labels against work orders; document progress on sheets.
• Ensure work area is clean, safe and organized for the next shift.
• Communicate handoff notes to the next shift Supervisor.
