Atlantic Track & Turnout Co. in Richmond, IL is seeking a Manual Mill Technician who can set up and operate manual milling machines, adjust offsets, and ensure parts meet specifications.

The role requires reading production drawings, familiarity with feeds, speeds, and chip load, and comfort with overhead crane handling. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years machining experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run manual milling machines and fine‑tune offsets.
• Assemble milling cutters and index inserts; select tooling.
• Load/unload parts with overhead crane.

As a Manual Mill Technician in our Richmond, IL facility, you’ll be a key contributor to specialty trackwork production at Atlantic Track & Turnout Co., an employee‑owned industry leader for over six decades.Is this you?Can you set up and run manual milling machines and fine‑tune offsets for accuracy?Do you know how to assemble milling cutters, index inserts, and choose tooling wisely?Are you comfortable using an overhead crane to load/unload parts safely?Do you enjoy verifying dimensions with measuring tools and completing quality paperwork?Are you organized, safety‑minded, and eager to help teammates solve tooling or machine issues?When you’ll workTrain first on 1st shift (Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm). Then move to your home schedule on 2nd shift (Monday–Thursday, 3:00pm–1:30am).
