Job summary

rms Company, part of Cretex Medical, specializes in medical implants and precision components. The Quality Inspector supports the production floor, ensuring product compliance to quality standards and industry specifications.

The role is 1st shift, Monday–Friday 6:00am–2:30pm, reporting to the Production Supervisor. You will inspect materials and assemblies, document results, and help maintain ISO and medical device requirements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of inspection equipment use and maintenance
• Ability to read customer drawings and specifications
• Ability to communicate inspection results with team members
• Ability to quickly shift priorities in support of production inspection needs
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)
• Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
• Ability to prioritize and multitask

Responsibilities

• Inspection of received materials, components, and assemblies relating to quality, appearance, and performance
• Interpret and accurately document the results of the inspections and testing
• Report and isolate non-conforming product
• Use a variety of inspection measurement tools and gauges
• Operate precision testing equipment including but not limited to Tool Scope, CMM, and Vision systems
• Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements
• Read, understand, and follow work instructions and standard work
• Partner with other business segments: sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance
• Understand customer needs and the core business markets we serve
• Ensure business systems are implemented, maintained, and functioning properly
• Participate in required company meetings
• Maintain an organized work area (5S)
• Participate in the Operational Excellence Program
• Complete all other work duties as assigned
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
