Job summary

Cretex Medical is a leading contract manufacturer in the medical device space. The Quality Inspector will perform first piece, in-process, and final inspections per control/quality plans and review release documentation. This role includes reading blueprints, using CMM and vision systems, and ensuring GMP compliance.

Shifts available on 7th shift (Monday-Wednesday and every other Sunday, 6:00 PM–6:30 AM). The company offers a robust benefits package, 401k match, health clinics, and ongoing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with measuring instruments and metrology.
• Ability to read and comprehend customer drawings and specs.
• Basic knowledge of inspection equipment use and maintenance.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Commit to safety policies and GMP guidelines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Perform first piece, in-process, and final inspections per control/quality plans.
• Review and approve final release documentation.
• Perform incoming inspections per control/quality plans for received materials.
• Complete quality records per GMP guidelines.
• Inspect injection molded parts for quality, appearance and performance.
• Inspect assemblies and received materials for quality and documentation.
• Read and comply with work instructions, set up sheets, and checklists.
• Maintain organized work area and adhere to 5S.
• Participate in Operational Excellence Program.
• Communicate inspection results with team members.
• Read customer drawings and specifications.
• Manage multiple requirements and deadlines.
