Job summary

Giesecke+Devrient ePayments America, Inc. seeks a Quality Inspector to assist with in-process QC on the production floor in our manufacturing facility. You will audit areas, notify supervisors of non-conformities, and maintain lot-traceability documentation. You will operate QC equipment to measure product quality.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1+ year manufacturing experience, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of related experience in a manufacturing setting is required.
• Eyesight correctable to 20/20 and color perception required for visual inspections.
• Strong verbal and written communication. Ability to keep detailed records.
• Able to lift 50 pounds regularly and work around machinery.
• Able to work independently with high attention to detail. Problem solving for setup/operation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with In-Process quality control (QC), concentrate on product coming off the production floor.
• Continuously audit work areas for identification of acceptable/rejection of product within the process.
• Advise production supervisors of any observed non-conformity.
• Maintaining lot control traceability documentation during manufacturing process.
• Use quality control equipment to measure quality of product coming off production floor.
• Perform related job duties as required and assigned.
