Job summary

NDS, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Inspector to perform basic dimensional and visual inspections of first article, in-process, and final product. You will maintain inspection records, use measuring devices, and ensure products meet specifications.

The role requires GED, 1–2 years related experience, and strong English communication skills. You will work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to noise and safety hazards, reporting to the Director of Human Resources.

Qualifications

• GED required.
• 1–2 years related work experience.
• Good communication skills in English (written and spoken).
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic in all units of measure.
• Ability to make effective decisions and solve problems.
• Ability to communicate with management and staff at all levels.
• Visual acuity to identify defects in inspection processes.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic dimensional and visual inspection of first article, in-process, and final inspection.
• Prepares and maintains required inspection records.
• Uses measuring devices to ensure product compliance with specifications.
• Rejects defective parts and marks defects on parts or sheets.
• May perform material and product testing such as melt index, UV, and impact tests.
• May generate metrics for Statistical Process Control.
