Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing in Holland, MI is hiring a Final Quality Auditor for the 2nd shift (6 PM–6 AM, Mon–Thu) to inspect finished goods before shipment and verify conformance to specifications. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (associate degree a plus), 2+ years in quality inspection, and familiarity with ISO 9001/IATF 16949.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in quality inspection or manufacturing auditing.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 is a plus.
• Ability to read, write and understand English to follow work instructions and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects and document findings.

Responsibilities

• Perform final inspections on finished goods prior to packaging or shipment.
• Verify appearance, measurements, functionality, labeling, and packaging.
• Ensure products comply with check sheets and work instructions.
• Document inspection results and non-conformances accurately.
• Communicate quality issues with production, engineering, and quality teams.
• Approve or reject finished products based on quality standards.
• Participate in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action processes.
• Maintain a clean and organized inspection area.
• Support internal and external audits as needed.
• Identify opportunities for quality and process improvements.
