Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing in Holland, MI is hiring a Final Quality Auditor for the 2nd shift (6 PM–6 AM, Mon–Thu) to inspect finished goods before shipment and verify conformance to specifications. You will document results, communicate findings with teams, and participate in root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (associate degree a plus), 2+ years in quality inspection, and familiarity with ISO 9001/IATF 16949.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in quality inspection or manufacturing auditing.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 is a plus.
• Ability to read, write and understand English to follow work instructions and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects and document findings.

Responsibilities

Who We Want:

The Final Quality Auditor is responsible for inspecting and verifying that finished products meet established quality standards and customer requirements before shipment. This role ensures compliance with internal quality procedures and customer specifications.

What You’ll Do:

When and Where:

This will be a 2 nd Shift / 6PM to 6AM, M-Th position located at our Plant in Holland, MI.

What You Need to Have:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or associate degree is a plus.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English at a level sufficient to safely and effectively perform job duties, including following work instructions, safety procedures, and company communications.
• 2+ years of experience in quality inspection or manufacturing auditing, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949 is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to detect defects.
• Ability to read and interpret inspection check sheets and work instructions.
• Familiarity with basic measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.).
• Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• May require lifting up to 30 pounds.
• Manual dexterity and visual acuity required for detailed inspection work.
