Job summary

Stone City Products Inc. is seeking a QC inspector to manage in-process quality and containment for all parts. You will perform 1st and last piece checks, hourly gage-based inspections, and ensure calibration and proper sample references.

The role requires strong attention to detail, ability to read blueprints, and clear communication with operators. Work includes maintaining the sort area, documenting deviations, following safety rules, and upkeeping a clean QC office.

Qualifications

• Must read and identify numbers, blueprints and various instructions.
• Must have keen attention to detail and produce high quality output.
• Able to communicate with different personalities and job roles.

Responsibilities

• Perform 1st piece and last piece checks for current production parts.
• Conduct hourly checks using gages and sign operator check sheets.
• Ensure gages are calibrated and operators know how to use them.
• Verify sample pieces match the masterpiece and document deviations.
• Maintain the sort area and document completion of sorts during downtime.
• Follow safety rules and keep the QC office clean and safe.
• Ensure completed work is accessible, documented, and communicated.
