Job summary

TruBlu HR Solutions is seeking an organized Quality Assurance Document Control Specialist for a growing precision manufacturing facility in Harlingen, TX. This role focuses on maintaining controlled documents, ensuring accuracy of quality records, and supporting QA/QC processes that impact manufacturing operations.

You will work closely with the QA/QC team to enter data, prepare for internal audits, track revisions, and archive documents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong computer, typing, and data-entry skills.
• Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and electronic filing systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in English.
• Ability to travel to Houston a few times per year.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, organize, and update controlled quality documents and records.
• Review documentation for accuracy, completeness, and proper formatting.
• Enter and update information in company databases and designated software.
• Prepare and organize documentation for internal audits.
• Assist with coordinating audit activities and maintaining audit records.
• Track document revisions and ensure employees have access to current versions.
• Remove or properly archive outdated documents.
• Identify missing or inaccurate information and follow up for corrections.
• Maintain confidential quality and company records.
• Provide administrative support to the QA/QC department.
• Communicate with production, quality, and management teams regarding documentation needs.
• Travel to the Houston corporate office a few times per year, with approved expenses paid.
