Job summary

Atkore in Weatherford, TX is seeking a Blending Operator I to blend PVC compounds per formulas and support extrusion. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you will ensure accurate blending and material flow to meet production schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Extrusion experience or ability to learn PVC extrusion operations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good understanding of basic math.
• Attention to detail, time management and organization.
• Mechanical aptitude for maintenance and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret production schedule to plan blending and storage.
• Estimate compound needs to support extrusion and route materials.
• Adjust blender controls and hoses for proper daily blends.
• Safely operate forklifts to move material and support inventory.
• Communicate with Maintenance, Production, Accounting, and Purchasing daily.
• Maintain and clean blending and storage areas.
• Assist with monthly raw material inventory and purchasing input.
