Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking a Punch Press Setup/Operator for our Montpelier facility on the 3rd shift (10pm-6am), with training on the 1st shift. Base pay is $24.02/hr plus 7% shift differential.

Responsibilities include operating the punch press, reading micrometers and calipers, completing die set ups, loading steel and moving parts, and using cranes and PIV while maintaining safety and housekeeping standards. Benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• General mechanical knowledge desired.
• Ability to operate forklift and cranes.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Basic math and measurement reading.

Responsibilities

• Operate punch press.
• Read micrometers, calipers and similar measuring tools.
• Adjust and replace components to maintain a quality product.
• Complete all die set ups in press.
• Load steel; move scrap and finished parts from machinery.
• Operate PIV to deliver tubs and raw material to machinery.
• Utilize cranes to move steel throughout department.
• Maintain housekeeping standards.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
