Vertiv seeks a Punch Operator to join our manufacturing team in Anderson, SC. You will set up, operate and adjust machines to produce quality parts, read blueprints and use calipers and tapes, and follow work orders under a team leader's guidance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and measuring instruments.
• Strong attention to detail and quality assurance.
• Comfortable working independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to follow safety protocols and participate in continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Set-up, operate, and adjust machines and equipment to produce quality parts.
• Use calipers, micrometers, and tape measures to ensure quality standards.
• Follow drawings or work orders provided by a team leader.
• Read/interpret blueprints and make minor adjustments as necessary.
• Maintain good housekeeping and comply with safety rules and procedures.
• Work efficiently while maintaining safety, quality and production standards.
• Promote a team-oriented atmosphere.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by leadership.
