Vertiv is seeking a Punch Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will set up and operate punching machines to produce quality parts, read blueprints, and ensure measurements meet specs.

The role requires attention to detail, safety compliance, and the ability to work both independently and with a team in a fast-paced environment. Overtime or weekend shifts may be necessary to support production goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience operating punching machines.
• Ability to read/interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and measuring instruments.
• Detail-oriented with strong quality assurance.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work independently or in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to follow safety protocols and improve processes.
• Overtime/shifts/weekends may be required.

Responsibilities

• Set-up, operate, and adjust machines to produce quality parts.
• Use calipers, micrometers, and tape measures to ensure standards.
• Follow drawings or work orders from team leader.
• Read/interpret blueprints and make minor adjustments.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness in work area.
• Work efficiently while maintaining safety and quality.
• Promote team-oriented atmosphere and assist leadership as needed.
