Vertiv currently seeks a Punch Operator to join our manufacturing team in a role focused on quality and reliable production. The selected candidate will report to the team leader, operate and adjust equipment, and collaborate with teammates to hit daily production goals.

The position requires attention to detail, ability to read blueprints and measurement tools, and adherence to safety standards in a fast-paced environment. Occasional overtime or weekend shifts may be necessary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous experience operating punch press equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and measuring instruments.
• Strong attention to detail and quality assurance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working independently or in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to follow safety protocols and contribute to continuous improvement.
• This position may require standing for extended periods, repetitive motion, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Safety gear (gloves, eye protection, steel-toed footwear, etc.) is required.

Responsibilities

• Set-up, operate, and adjust machines to produce quality parts.
• Use calipers, micrometers, and tape measures to ensure quality standards.
• Follow drawings or work orders as provided by a team leader.
• Read/interpret blueprints and make minor adjustments as necessary.
• Maintain good housekeeping and comply with safety rules.
• Work efficiently while prioritizing safety, quality, and production goals.
• Promote a team-oriented atmosphere at all times.
• Perform any other tasks as directed by leadership.
• Be flexible to work overtime, shifts, or weekends as needed to support production demands.
