Job summary

Jasper Engines & Transmissions is seeking a Pump Assembly technician for the Power Drive Transmission – POD 733. The role involves inspecting pumps for damage, removing bushings, and bringing gear clearances within spec using feeler gauges.

You will assemble the pump and torque bolts to specification with torque tools. Expect a Monday–Friday 6:30am–3:00pm schedule in a climate controlled environment with opportunities for wage increases based on performance and a range of benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Stand or walk for 8–10 hours per shift.
• Proficiency with handheld tools such as straight edge, feeler gauge, torque gun, hydraulic/arbor press, and slide hammer.

Responsibilities

• Inspect pump for damage and remove bushings.
• Sand burrs if needed and bring gear clearance within spec using gauges.
• Assemble pump and torque bolts to spec using torque tools.
