Job summary

Wabtec seeks an Electronic Assembler in Kansas City, MO to follow detailed assembly instructions for disassembly, cleaning and reassembly of electronic devices and to perform system testing, documenting results in the repair tracking system. You will use hand, pneumatic and power tools while adhering to safety protocols and OSHA standards.

The role requires a high school diploma (preferred) and experience in electronics or mechanical assembly, with strict adherence to English instructions and 5S

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in electronics or mechanical assembly preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Follow assembly instructions to ensure accurate and efficient assembly of components.
• Wash, clean, and buff components by hand and remove debris.
• Assemble electro-mechanical components and inspect connections for proper alignment.
• Maintain clean and organized work area per 5S.
• Interpret product documentation and schematics to execute tasks.
• Complete daily work orders and adapt to changing priorities.
