Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience with die setting is preferred.
• Ability to pass all certifications required for the position.
• Must have a valid lift truck operators license or successfully complete lift truck training.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to work independently or with a group.
• Ability to learn to operate an automatic press, set up dies, and changeover jobs.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able read and comprehend instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Able to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate automatic presses, cranes, lift trucks, and other auxiliary equipment.
• Set up dies and perform changeover jobs in a press.
• Visually inspect in-process and finished parts.
• Check parts with fixtures and gauges.
• Operate additional production equipment as needed.
• Stack parts and maintain material flow.
• Adhere to safety policies and ISO standards.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Perform tasks assigned by the Stamping Supervisor or Group Leader.
