Automatic Pressroom Operator – 1st Shift

What You’ll Do

As a Pressroom Operator you’ll be part of our Pressroom team located in Willard, Ohio. You’ll get to:

• Complete production activities in the Press Room, including operation of automatic presses, cranes, lift trucks and any other auxiliary equipment.
• Operate and adjust feeding and handling equipment (e.g., coil cradle, coil leveling).
• Complete changeover jobs: set up blanking dies, progressive dies and transfer dies in a press.
• Visual inspection of both in-process and finished parts.
• Use appropriate tools and fixtures to check parts.
• Operate manual presses as needed.
• Stack parts as needed.
• Understand and ensure safe operation of the presses, lift trucks and similar equipment.
• Abide by all SBD Willard safety policies.
• Conduct material handling tasks as needed.
• Follow all applicable ISO standards and procedures to ensure quality standards are met.
• Recognize concerns and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.
• Perform departmental tasks assigned by the Stamping Supervisor or Group Leader.

Minimum Qualifications
