Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking a Fabricator for the 1st shift in Willard, Ohio. You will perform fabrication production activities, hang lines, and inspect parts while safely operating weld cells and related equipment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, manual dexterity, and the ability to read ISO work instructions. You must thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn safety rules, and be willing to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Manual dexterity to use hand tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and comprehend ISO work instructions.
• Able to operate in a fast paced work environment.
• Willingness to learn facility safety rules and procedures.
• Basic troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Ability to interact with other associates across the facility.
• Ability to walk, stand, and lift up to 40 lbs for eight hours daily.
• Previous fabrication and/or light industrial experience is a plus.
• Able to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Hang line (hanging and inspecting parts).
• Safely operate necessary equipment, including weld cells.
• Use PPE such as arm guards, face shields and Kevlar aprons during grinding.
• Conduct visual inspections of in-process and finished welded products.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to meet 6S standards.
• Follow ISO work instructions to complete production tasks.
• Set up work stations as needed and report safety or quality issues.
• Adhere to all SBD policies and safety rules.
