Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with die setting preferred.
• Must pass certifications required for the position.
• Valid lift truck license or complete lift truck training.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently or with a group.
• Ability to learn to operate an automatic press, set up dies and changeover jobs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must read and comprehend instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Overtime flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Operate automatic presses and related equipment in the press room.
• Manage feeding and handling equipment and perform die changes.
• Conduct changeovers, set up dies, and transfer dies in presses.
• Perform visual inspection of parts and measure with appropriate tools.
• Follow ISO standards and safety policies in the press area.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and maintain a clean work environment.
• Complete departmental tasks as directed by the Stamping Supervisor or Group Leader.
