Sabre Industries, Inc. in Texas is seeking a Machine Operator B to perform cutting, laying out, punching, bending, drilling and stamping of materials per shop drawings under supervision of the Manufacturing Manager.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and 1+ year welding experience; must read shop drawings, use a tape measure, and follow safety and quality standards. Long shifts and weekends may be required in an open environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years recent experience in a welding environment desired.
• Ability to read and understand shop drawings.

Responsibilities

• Read shop drawings to determine sequence of operations.
• Cut, lay out, punch, bend, drill or stamp materials per drawings.
• Use tooling and machine settings correctly to avoid damage.
• Read a tape measure to 1/16 inch and ensure accuracy.
• Maintain clean and organized work area; follow safety rules.
