Job summary

Sabre Industries in Texas is seeking a Machine Operator B to perform the cutting, laying out, punching, bending, drilling and stamping of materials per shop drawings. You will read shop drawings, select tooling and operate machines with accuracy.

Responsibilities include changing tooling, using overhead cranes and forklifts, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and contributing to production schedules. A high school diploma and 1+ year welding experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must read and understand shop drawings and safety rules.
• Able to read blueprints and use a tape measure accurately.
• Regular, on-time attendance and ability to work with others.

Responsibilities

• Cut, lay out, punch, bend, drill and stamp materials per shop drawings.
• Read shop orders and specifications to determine operation sequence.
• Change tooling and consumables as needed and maintain machine settings.
• Use overhead cranes and forklifts to move materials safely.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area; contribute to team effort.
