Job summary

Sabre Industries is seeking a Machine Operator B to join its manufacturing team in Texas. You will cut, lay out, punch, bend, drill and stamp materials according to shop drawings, under supervision of the Manufacturing Manager.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and 1+ years welding experience; strong reading of blueprints and tape measure; ability to work with cranes and forklifts; willingness to work long shifts including weekends, and to maintain a safe, clean work

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of welding experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Read shop drawings and determine operation sequence.
• Cut, lay out, punch, bend, drill or stamp materials as specified.
• Change or replace tooling and consumables on machines as needed.
• Operate machines with proper setup to avoid damage.
• Read a tape measure accurately to 1/16 inch.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and follow safety rules.
