Sabre Industries in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Machine Operator B to perform cutting, laying out, punching, bending, drilling and stamping of materials per shop drawings, including set‑up of Plasma Tables and Brake Presses.

The role requires reading blueprints, tape measures to 1/16 inch, strong English communication, regular attendance and teamwork, with a full benefits program for full‑time employees.

Qualifications

• Must possess the ability to read, understand, and communicate effectively in the English language and contribute to the success of the team.
• Must have demonstrated ability to read blue prints, tape measure and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals.
• Regular and timely attendance is required.

Responsibilities

• Reads shop drawings and determines the sequence of operation.
• Cuts, lays out, punches, bends, drills or stamps materials per shop drawings.
• Changes or replaces tooling and/or consumables on the machines as needed.
• Uses proper setting technique of the machines to avoid damage.
• Reads a tape measure to 1/16 inch.
• Follows work instructions to prepare items to be processed.
• Performs simple maintenance diagnosis of machines.
• Uses overhead cranes & gantries as well as forklifts to move materials.
• Keeps assigned work area clean and organized.
• Contributes to a safe working environment by being responsible for quality, safety, organization and cleanliness.
• Contributes to team effort by communicating and working well with others.
• Regular and on-time attendance.
• Work in your shift as scheduled.
