Job summary

Rust Belt Recruiting is seeking a Press Brake Operator for an on-site, full-time role in a premier metal stamping and fabrication facility. You will load CNC programs and precision tooling, set up to achieve exact engineering dimensions, and contribute to high-throughput production.

The position emphasizes strong mechanical aptitude, blueprint interpretation, and proficiency with calipers and micrometers to ensure quality parts, while maintaining a safe, organized work area and collaborating

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of hands-on fabrication or equivalent experience, plus 5+ years in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with blueprint reading and technical specs.
• Proficiency with precision tools like calipers and micrometers; solid math skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up, load CNC programs and tooling into press brake machinery to meet specs.
• Form and adjust sheet metal parts to tight tolerances with minimal waste.
• Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring instruments.
• Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on machinery.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace following 5S and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with teammates for general fabrication and assembly tasks as needed.
